Class Room 11
Emily Corey and Leena Patnaik
In Room 11 we have students MWF ½ day and T-TH ½ day. We enjoy working with our three-year-old friends! In our classroom, children are exploring, learning, and having fun!
Emily Corey
I love working with younger kids, and over the years I have been a babysitter, nanny, paraprofessional, dance teacher, and now 3 year-old preschool teacher! I have my Bachelors of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University, and am currently working on my Masters in Educational Administration. I am married and we have a daughter. We also have 4 fur babies (3 dogs, 1 cat) and love them as family! In my spare time, I enjoy seeing movies, dancing, singing, playing with my cat and dogs, and spending time with my family.
My name is Leena Patnaik. I work with Mrs. Emily is in a 3-year-old class. I have a degree in a Bachelor of Arts (with a major in Psychology & Logic). I am a CDA certified professional. I have a passion for the early childhood education program and have been working with children for the past 15 years at Longacre School, Farmington Community School, Alameda, and FECC. I also enjoy spending time with the rest of the Early Childhood family. I am married and have one son (Rayen). Rayen graduated from Farmington High in 2012 and achieved his undergrad from University of Michigan Ann Arbor in 2016. We love the Farmington community and enjoy all that it has to offer. I am glad to be part of the Early Childhood family.
